PORTRAITS
There can’t be many people nowadays that don’t have at least one camera, digital or film, at their disposal, even if it’s just the under-performing item in the back of their mobile phone! However, there is still nothing like a nicely shot portrait taken in relaxed situation at home, in the garden, or a suitable location, made by a photographer who will help you capture your look, your partner, or your family group. I don’t do studio portraits, and without that massive overhead, can offer a sitting at home for an affordable fee, with prints of your choice and size available, chose from proof sheets supplied as part of the package.
More complex multiple sittings or exploring your own ideas, maybe involving changes of clothes, can be accommodated at modest extra cost.
Ordering batches of prints of the same image – say for entertainer’s publicity photos – greatly reduces the per-print price.
Basic home sitting – One hour £40 including up to four proof sheets supplied
(Travelling outside 10 mile radius of Hastings extra – please ask for a quote)

RESTORATION
I am able to offer restoration work on cherished family photographs, or any old print that is of historical interest, or part of your personal heritage. Scanning or re-photographing the original, the digital image can then be cleaned up, scratches, blemishes, water or other damage removed, and the resultant digital file output on print or CD. Sepia originals can be left that way, or changed to monochrome black and white. Not all images may be able to be totally restored, and indeed some may just be required as faithful copies “warts and all”. Show me the image, and I’ll tell you what I can do, and work out a budget for the job.
